After graduating from college, he returned to the Methodist Church where he grew up and received a Master of Divinity Degree (1993) and a Doctor of Ministry Degree (2000) from the Claremont School of Theology.

Pastor Son married Euni in 1981, and they had a married daughter, Esther, a son, Philip, and three grandchildren.  His hobbies are walking mountain trails and singing duets with his wife.

Pastor Son enjoys giving sermons based on the Scriptures and makes it his mission to introduce the faithful and all-powerful God who has been at work in human history, church history, and his life’s journey.
